  • macOS builds are signed and notarised by Apple.
  • Windows builds are not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may ask before the first run. The checksum is how you know the file is ours.
  • iPhone and iPad are in public beta through TestFlight.
  • Desktop and store builds are proprietary packaging of the same app. Why.

The web app

A real app,in a browser tab.

The web app is the open-source edition, and it is not a demo. Install it as an app from your browser's menu, or just bookmark it.

  • Works offline after first load. A service worker keeps the app on your device.
  • No sign-in. There are no accounts to create.
  • No cloud required. Vaults live in your browser, or in a folder you choose where the browser allows it.
  • Always current. Updates arrive when you reload. Nothing to install.
