Support Neoma
Neoma is free, and always will be. Its web app is open source under the AGPL-3.0. The App Store and desktop builds are the same app, packaged, signed and proprietary (see License). It is built by one independent developer in Australia, in the open, because your knowledge should belong to you, not to a subscription on someone else's server.
If Neoma is useful to you, there are a few ways to help keep it alive and growing.
Back the Kickstarter
The best way to support Neoma right now is to back the campaign to fund Neoma Pro: optional, end-to-end encrypted cloud sync and one-click publishing. The app stays free forever and the web app stays open source; backing the campaign pre-orders Pro at a founder price and pays for the servers and development time to build it.

Sponsor ongoing development
Prefer to chip in regularly? Sponsorship covers the day-to-day: fixing bugs, shipping features, and keeping the lights on.
- Sponsor on GitHub: github.com/sponsors/infinitumio
Free ways that genuinely help
Not everything costs money. These make a real difference:
- Star the repo on GitHub so more people find it.
- Try the web app at neomadev.app/app and tell a friend.
- Share it with anyone who cares about privacy, local-first tools, or studying.
- Report bugs and ideas as issues.
- Contribute code, docs, or translations to the open-source web app.
Where the money goes
Neoma is a lean, independent project. Funding goes to development time and the hosting for the optional Pro services. Pro is priced cheaply, roughly to cover what it costs to run, not to be a profit centre. The local-first app is, and will remain, free.
Thank you for helping keep your knowledge rooted locally.
